Made in Britain by the leading mobility aid specialists, the Freeway offers excellent value for money and includes many features normally reserved for more expensive models: a lightweight and strong 8-wheeled, 4-leg frame that folds flat for easy transportation and storage and remains fully upright whilst folded; soft-grip handles that adjust to three heights; safe push-down brakes that engage automatically as you lean on the handles or sit on the seat; smooth swivel-steering front wheels and fixed back wheels; a comfortably padded vinyl seat that folds away when not in use and features a zipped storage pocket; a strong nylon shopping caddy that folds with the frame but can be removed if required; plus a handy walking stick holder.

Custom-Made
With an attractive and durable metallic paint finish in your choice of blue or burgundy, the Freeway is custom-made to order with a 19" (48cm) or 21" (53cm) seat height. To select the seat height appropriate to your individual requirements, simply take the following measurement: find a household chair or stool on which you can comfortably sit unaided, then measure the distance between the top of the seat and the floor. The seat height you require is the one closest to this measurement. If in doubt choose the lower measurement.  All frames measure 25" (63.5cm) wide to fit though a normal internal doorway.
