How to Control Cholesterol Levels
User Avatar Bios Life Complete" Lowers High Cholesterol Levels 4 Different Ways Naturally! Bios Life Complete is the only supplement that combines all four of the known approaches to lowering harmful cholesterol. This proprietary comprehensive approach: 1. Helps to Block Re-absorption of Cholesterol in the Intestinal Tract. As food enters the intestinal tract, bile acids are needed to break down fat. The liver uses the cholesterol thats already in the body to produce these bile acids. As Bios Life Complete enters the intestinal tract, the proprietary fiber matrix forms a gel which traps the bile acids (thus, trapping the cholesterol) making them unavailable for re-absorption into the body. This reduces the overall amount of cholesterol in the body. With this approach alone, Bios Life2 has helped millions of people worldwide to lower their cholesterol. 2. Helps to Block Absorption of Cholesterol Which Comes Directly From Food. Phytosterols have a chemical structure similar to that of cholesterol. However, unlike cholesterol derived from animal ourceswhich absorbs easily and raises the bodys own cholesterol levelsphytosterols are present only at very low evels in the body because they are diffi cult to absorb. In fact, phytosterols so closely resemble cholesterol that they can actually block food-based cholesterol from being absorbed into the bloodstream by blocking the cholesterol transport mechanisms in the intestinal tract. The result is hat both phytosterols and dietary cholesterol end up excreted in waste matter, which can reduce the overall cholesterol levels in the body. Foods containing at least .65g per dose of phytosterols (plant sterol esters), taken twice a day with meals for a total daily intake of 1.3g may reduce he risk of heart disease associated with high cholesterol levels. A serving of Bios Life Complete contains .67g of phytosterols. 3. Reduces the Cholesterol Produced by the Liver. The liver manufactures cholesterol and secretes it into the blood. An important enzyme in this production process is HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme can be blocked by certain chemicalssuch as those found in statin drugs. Unlike synthetic statins, Unicity utilizes the most effective natural component called policosanol, which has the same effect. 4. Enhances Enzymatic Breakdown and Removal of LDL Cholesterol. Chrysanthemum morifolium has been used for centuries by Chinese medicine and has just recently been proven to stimulate the enzymes associated with cholesterol breakdown. In fact, it was Unicitys research network that uncovered and developed this proprietary discovery! Choose Bios Life" Complete. The only clinically proven, patented, natural Alternative to statin drugs to effectively reduce cholesterol. Do You Know if You Have Diabetes?
User Avatar A hospital in Israel recently offered a free health screening. Over 1,400 people volunteered for screenings, the vast majority of whom had no known blood sugar problems. The screenings were performed by trained volunteers, and the results were astonishing. Of the 1,401 volunteers, 228 knew they had diabetes; 21% of the remaining (1,173 individuals) had Dysglycemia. An additional 4.3% had Type 2 Diabetes. That means nearly one in four people had a blood sugar disorder or were pre-diabetic, and they didnt even know it. This is of the upmost importance that each of us is aware of our health. Regular physicals and periodic lab tests will help ensure thats the case. Even if we feel relatively well, we cant just assume were healthy. There may be blood level issues were not aware of or are not yet feeling the effects of. And while most of those tested who did discover a disorder tended to be a bit older, had higher blood glucose, a higher body mass index, and a higher systolic blood pressure, many of us who dont fit into all of those categories could still be at risk. The second issue, which is perhaps even more pressing, is how widespread this diagnosis is. While this wasnt a simple random sample of volunteers, its reasonable to think 20% to 30% of people are facing the same issue. This grows from a systemic problem where many people dont care about their health, dont maintain healthy eating and exercise habits, and arent tracking important health indicators. Its important for all of us to be aware of what diseases we may be at risk for. And while some people may be aware theyre diabetic or have dysglycemia, there are potentially millions of others who have no idea. The solution, of course, is to not wait; take the steps to improve your health and take them now.
