We all know we shouldn't poke things into our ears - but we all do it anyway. The problem with cotton buds and matchsticks is they tend to compact ear wax (called cerumen), making things worse. And every time you stimulate your ear by poking it, it produces more wax.

This electric Ear Wax Remover actually vacuums out the wax, without stimulating production of more. So you can keep your shell-likes pink and clean without the risk of harm (putting foreign bodies into your ear canal can cause otitis, an inflammatory infection).
Untouchable
The Ear Wax Remover comes with 3 soft little colour coded cleaning tips - so up to 3 people can use it - and a brush to clean the filter. Just switch on, and place the tip gently into your ear. The vacuum sucks out any wax gently and hygienically. Requires 2 AA batteries (not supplied).
Tips
Many over the counter eardrops are ineffective and can cause skin irritation inside the ear, making matters worse. Only use drops prescribed by your doctor. Warm olive oil is an old fashioned remedy for softening ear wax prior to irrigation (having your ear syringed), but you need to lie on your side for about 15 minutes while it takes effect - and it needs to be repeated for 3 days. Many hospitals are now using vacuum suction to clean ears of wax build up.
