Headset
The Wireless Radio Headphones pick up radio waves sent from the transmitter. You have a rotary volume control with the headset and it comes on automatically when you want to use it. Two sets of foam earpiece covers are included, and you can independently adjust the tone & volume for each ear. The headset weighs only 47g and has 2 rechargeable batteries that each give up to 6 hours listening time. Charging is via the port on the transmitter unit.
Transmitter
The mains powered transmitter comes with a set of leads to connect to your TV SCART, audio phono or 3.5mm headphone socket and an AC/DC adaptor. There's also a microphone that can be used instead of the leads. It picks up the sound from your TV or music system etc and sends it via radio waves to your headset. There are 3 channels and an auto-tune facility to ensure optimum sound quality wherever you are. The transmitter weighs only 200g, is smaller than a paperback, is set to stereo and has a range of up to 80 metres.
