Using our marvellous little TENS unit Stress, urge or mixed incontinence can be treated safely and easily. For post surgical treatment or menopause problems, the Mama-sure Ultima helps you deal with embarrassing incontinence permanently and without drugs. TENS has no side effects and the unit is easy to operate, strengthening your pelvic floor muscles gently yet effectively.

Pelvic Floor Muscles
The Mama-sure Ultima is based on TENS technology and uses mild electrical impulses to stimulate the muscles of the vagina and pelvic floor. These muscles are often weakened during childbirth or after surgery such as hysterectomy. Your pelvic floor muscles act as a sling, holding in your lower abdominal cavity. If they are weak, your internal organs can sag, putting pressure on your bladder.

Stress or Urge Incontinence
This can lead to stress incontinence, where a sneeze or physical exertion can cause leakage of urine. It can also be caused by a weak bladder valve or urethral sphincter. Urge incontinence makes you feel as if you constantly need to urinate and is caused by involuntary bladder contractions. It's also possible to have both types at once: mixed incontinence.

You're in Control
The Mama-sure Ultima has three preset programmes, one for urge, one for stress and one for mixed incontinence. Simply insert the small vaginal probe as you would a tampon. You can choose the level of intensity, and pause or stop the programme. In programme A, for urge incontinence, you will feel a long series of quick impulses. In B, - mixed - you will feel a gentle drawing in of the muscles and a tapping or throbbing sensation. C - stress incontinence - creates a strong squeezing of the muscles, encouraging you to join in with the contractions.

Note: always consult your doctor or GP before using this device.
